I kinda agree with the article. It really doesnt make any sense in hiring people from different engineering backgrounds just because they are toppers in their fields…

And another thing I have noticed is that most people who have taken up Computers or IT in engineering aren’t really interested in this field…they have just taken it for the money and hype that surrounds it.

Thanks to this there are many students in the final year of CS or IT Engineering who cannot even write a simple C program! Maybe this explains why companies are hiring students of other branches?
