After all the LHC updates and expectations, the folks at CERN went through a few problems, starting with a hacking attempt and then an incident with Helium leaking into the tunnel. They have now paused all tests and will be restarting in 2009 after fixing the faults.

Closer to home, the Indian Space Research Organisation is planning their ambitious mission to the Moon! Chandrayaan – 1 is India’s first such mission to the moon and the countdown. This is a very proud time for all of us in India and I wish the team all the very best! :)

There are also some interesting WordPress updates. Apparently now we can host WordPress and other PHP Web applications in IIS!

And finally I am really looking forward to WordPress 2.7. The previews of the interface looks awesome!

I got Airtel Online activated on my phone and it is suprisingly convenient to be connected through my phone. I can now check my gmail, search for stuff, download themes from the sony ericsson website, etc., etc. right on my phone and I can even blog with the phone! Check out my new mobile blog here! It’s a blogger blog, hosted on my server. I know this is nothing new, but it is new to me and it’s damn cool! :)

The new Sony Ericsson S500i

This has to be the sexiest Sony Ericsson phone I’ve ever seen.
Ever since I lost my W810i, I went back to my older K508i, as I didn’t want to buy the W810i again. I fell for the S500i the first time I saw it in the Coming Soon section at the Sony Ericsson website. After reading countless reviews and opinions, I decided this is what I’m going to get myself for my birthday!
