PS: This post was written using the new Windows Live Writer (Beta). It’s a great piece of software and I am happy that it even works fine with a custom installation of wordpress, such as mine!

4 Comments ISPs in India are blocking access to various blogs and websites, inluding those at blogger, typepad and even geocities, based on an order from Department of Telecommunications (DoT), Government of India.
Apparently various blogs and sites were considered too sensitive by the Government and required to be censored. But in the process of censoring these sites, the ISPs have ended up blocking all blogs and websites present in the same hosts. Whatever happened to democracy and rights and freedom of expression? Like I read somewhere – just because terrorists are using mobile phones to communicate, the Government can’t ban all phones; The same applies here.
